Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health Certificate level 2

Mental health problems affect 1 in 10 children and young people. Issues include depression, anxiety and conduct disorder. This qualification is ideal if you work with young people and would like a better understanding of the complexity's and impact of mental ill health. You will explore the risk factors involved and how to support a young person experiencing mental ill health.
On average the course takes 15 weeks to complete. Time frame depends on the time you have available and your prior knowledge.
Whether working online or with paper materials you are supplied with all the information required to complete the course. The assessments are made up of questions asking you to describe, explain, identify or list information. To be able to pass this qualification answers must be in your own words, using sentences and paragraphs.
