Awareness of Mental Health Problems TQUK Certificate Level 2

This online only course offers you an insight into 12 different types of mental ill health. You will explore the signs and symptoms, the possible impact on the individual and others and how you could offer support to the individual. Legislation and the changes to the care approach through the years will be explored along with how the media portrays people with mental ill health.

This is a nationally recognised qualification, great for updating your CV, increasing your understanding of a deeply complex but prominent topic, and to enable you to better understand someone else's experience.

On average the course takes 16 weeks to complete. Time frame depends on the time you have available and your prior knowledge.

The assessments are made up of questions asking you to describe, explain, identify or list information. To be able to pass this qualification answers must be in your own words, using sentences and paragraphs.
