The course is for those students who are either looking to start a career as a site supervisor in construction or individuals already employed in construction, looking to advance their career aspirations.
This 36-month course is a combination of classroom delivery of a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Construction Management qualification at our Freemen's Park Campus and the evidencing of embedding the key knowledge, skills and behaviours, contained within the apprenticeship standard, into the workplace. To support the monitoring and recording of on-site activity, one of our trainer assessors will work with you and your employer to support, coach and mentor you to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours in preparation for your End Point Assessment and achieve a full apprenticeship qualification.
An apprenticeship is a job with training. You will be employed at least 30 hours a week, with 80% of your working hours in your day-to-day role, and the remaining 20% of your time engaged in training or study.
By enquiring about this apprenticeship you are not applying for a specific role. For current vacancies please take a look at the apprenticeship vacancies page.
You must have achieved a minimum grade 4 in GCSE maths and English to apply for this apprenticeship. It is not mandatory but desirable to have achieved a level 3 qualification in any construction discipline.
