Bench Joiners are based in a workshop and produce timber products such as doors, window frames, staircases and cabinets. As an apprentice, you will learn how to use traditional woodworking tools as well as specialised power or hand tools for cutting, shaping, smoothing and finishing. You can progress on to level 3 courses after completion of this apprenticeship.
An apprenticeship is a job with training. You will be employed at least 30 hours a week, with 80% of your working hours in your day-to-day role, and the remaining 20% of your time engaged in training or study.
